二、让步状语从句的倒装
adj.+as/though+sb. was, sb. do sth.
简单句：He was exhausted and hungry. He crossed the finish line.
改写后：Exhausted and hungry as he was, he still insisted on crossing the finish line.
简单句：The man was ugly. He had a kind heart.
改写后：Ugly though the man was, he bore a kind heart as pure as a diamond.

简单句：Jack knelt down.
