中秋佳节将至，你知道如何用英文描写中秋夜吗？
哪个中秋可以不谈月？自古至今，中国人把月几乎是写尽了。团圆是它，花好月圆；孤独也是它，举杯邀明月，对影成三人。明朗的夜，是皓月当空，月明风清；有雾的夜，是月色朦胧，淡月疏星；有云的夜，或有云破月开；雨后的夜，则有月色如水，霁月光风；月光洒在地上，一片清辉；月落到水里，浮光跃金，静影沉璧。中秋之夜，日落西山后，月上柳梢头；及月至中天，大若银盘，似玉轮，如金鉴，待赏了月，酒阑人散，却是月落乌啼霜满天。
若想在英文中抓出大把合适的描写，来匹配中国人这种对月的感情，实属不易。月到底是黑夜的产物，西方人看月，虽会联想到美丽的女性与爱情，联想到生育与丰收，但同时也常会联想到谎言、精神错乱、灾祸、神秘莫测与邪恶等等。至于团圆的意象，则是没有的。然而即便如此，当我们真的用英文散文化的语句来摹写中秋之月，会发现美感并不会因为语言的转换而褪色，毕竟人类的情感在许多层面上是共通的吧。
