Like most dogs whose homes are situated on large plotsof land，one New Zealand dogregularly went off exploring through the farmland around his home forhours at a time.
But as Louie，asheepdog rescued from a shelter when he was just a puppy，got older，his trips got shorter andshorter.Now that Louie is 12 years old，hechooses to stay close to home and hardly ever goes out to explore any more，which is why his family was soworried when he recently disappeared and didn't return home as usual.

It was always warm in the hay. And hay wasfood for Zlateh.

He looked at Zlatehand realized that he would not be starved to death. Goat’s milk was sweet.Zlateh ate frequently and her body gave forth an animal warmth, and Aaron hugged her tightly.
